 1. What is CashBack?

CashBack is the term used to describe the Infinity currency, which is what you earn every time you purchase goods/services from any Infinity Partner and present your chosen Infinity card alongside.

For example, spend R100 at a partcipating Mica, pay the full value for the items in either cash or credit/debit card, present your Infinity card and you will receive a percentage of your purchase value back in the form of CashBack which you can spend at any Infinity Partner.

Having CashBack is like having money in your back pocket because R5 CashBack is equivalent to R5 in your wallet. There is no conversion with Infinity CashBack as its not beans, bucks or miles.

2. What is a Redemption?

Anytime that you spend your CashBack Rewards towards a full or partial payment of a purchase at any Infinity Partner, it is called a redemption. And as a way of thanking you for performing a redemption you also earn a CashBack Reward.

Note that for smart card holders (card with a chip on the front) you may be prompted for a PIN number when performing a redeem transaction. The default PIN number is 1111, you can personalise this on any Infinity terminal.

3. How can I check my CashBack Balance?

Simply SMS the keyword 'bal'&your 9 digit Infinity card number to 41 534 and receive your CashBack balance sent straight to your phone. Anytime, Anywhere.

4. What is Infinity?

Infinity is a multi-partner rewards programme that offers any Infinity cardholder the opportunity to earn and spend CashBack at any Infinity Partner within the network. That means that you can earn CashBack Rewards on your meal at your favourite Mimmos and then spend that CashBack at Mica towards your next purchase and visa versa.

5. Where can I get an Infinity card?

You can click on the 'GET THE LIFESTYLE' button on the top right hand side of the website and apply for a card. Note that it will be posted to you.

Or you can visit any one of Infinity's partners to collect a FREE Infinity card. Click on the 'FIND A PARTNER' button to locate your nearest Partner. Remember that if you are applying instore for an Infinity card as well as making a purchase, you can immediately earn a CashBack Reward right there and then.

6. Is there a difference between a Mica Infinity card and a Mimmos Infinity card?

Aside from the look and feel of the face of the card, there is no difference between the cards in that you can use either one to earn and spend CashBack Rewards at any Infinity Partner. In fact, any card that has an Infinity logo on it is welcome.

7. Does my CashBack expire and when?

Yes, your CashBack will expire nine (9) months from the date of your last CashBack transaction i.e. Reward or Redeem. Note that an access transaction is not a CashBack transaction. So to avoid expiry be sure to keep using your Infinity card at regular intervals

8. Will I receive notification that my Rewards are about to expire?

Yes, you will receive an SMS/Email informing you 30 days prior to your CashBack expiring. This is provided that we have your correct cell phone number captured on our system.
